PRIVACY
This notice covers the public website at two7.ai. It does not cover the records a business keeps inside the product; those are described under security and data handling. Besides what you type into the contact form, the website counts page visits using analytics that two7 runs on its own hardware. Both are described below.
This notice is a draft. It describes what the website actually does, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and four facts in it are still marked as placeholders: the retention period, the governing jurisdiction, the date it takes effect and the version of the visit-counting software the IP paragraph describes. Ask at hello@two7.ai if any of the four matters to you now.
The contact form asks for a name, a business name, an email address, a subject and a message. Those five fields are what is submitted and what is stored. The form validates what it receives, caps the length of the message, normalises the email address to lower case and carries a stable identifier so that a resubmitted enquiry is recorded once rather than twice. Fields the form did not ask for are discarded.
To read the enquiry and reply to it. The business name and the subject are there so a reply can be about the right thing rather than a generic one. Nothing collected through this form is used to build a profile, to score a visitor, or for any purpose other than the conversation the enquiry started.
It does not run advertising. It does not sell, rent or share enquiry data with a third party for their own purposes. It does not attempt to work out who a visitor is, or link a visit to a real person or to any other website. The visit counting described below runs on two7’s own hardware and sends nothing to an analytics company.
This site counts page visits using Umami, which two7 runs on its own hardware rather than paying an analytics company. Your visit is not sent to an analytics company and is not sold or shared for anyone else’s purposes; it goes to two7’s own Umami instance, and it reaches that instance over two7’s own Cloudflare tunnel, so Cloudflare carries the request in transit as two7’s sub-processor. It records the page address you opened including any query string, the page you arrived from, the page title, and a row describing the visit: browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and approximate location. [PLACEHOLDER: the two sentences that follow describe Umami 2.10.0, the version this notice was written against and read from its source; the version actually running has not yet been confirmed against them.] Your IP address is not stored — that version keeps no field for one — but it is used at the moment a visit is counted, to work out that approximate location and, combined with your browser’s user agent and turned into a fingerprint, to group the pages you open into a single visit. It is not kept and it is not used for anything else. The counting sets no cookies and it does not follow you to other websites. Two of two7’s own surfaces are counted this way: these public pages, and the cube application two7 serves at /admin. The Studio application, which is behind a sign-in, is not instrumented, and neither are the pages a business publishes to its own customers.
[PLACEHOLDER: retention period — not yet decided.] Until that is settled, enquiries are retained while the conversation they belong to is open and are removed on request. If the period matters to you before it is published, ask and you will be told what is actually being done.
People at two7 who are responding to enquiries. An enquiry submitted through the public website is not visible to another business using the product, and it is not placed into a customer’s own business records.
Do not send passwords, API keys, payment card details, bank details, government identifiers or your own customers’ records through the contact form. It is a general enquiry form. If something sensitive needs to be discussed, say so in general terms and a safer route will be agreed first.
Email hello@two7.ai and say what you would like: a copy of the enquiry you sent, a correction to it, or its deletion. [PLACEHOLDER: governing jurisdiction and the specific statutory rights that follow from it — not yet settled.] Independently of which rules apply, a request to delete an enquiry will be honoured.
A changed notice is published on this page. [PLACEHOLDER: date this notice takes effect.] This page covers the public website at two7.ai only. It does not cover the records a business keeps inside the product, which are governed by that business’s own agreement and are described separately under security and data handling.
Email hello@two7.ai. If the question is about how the product handles a business’s own records rather than about this website, the security page is the better starting point.
